At MBXGames we strongly believe in using the right tools for the job.

We like to find out what you or your client's end goal is and will always advise where we think you can get the best return on investment. Maybe in our experience a facebook game will be better for you than an iPhone game, maybe not - either way we'll explain and work with you to deliver what is right, not try and force you into only the services we offer.

To acheive this we have a strong emphasis on learning and R&D within MBXGames, we are forward thinking and stay on top of new technologies as they hit mainstream adoption. Below is a summary of the main platforms we target...

iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch).

We've developed some great games for the iPhone/iPad on behalf of clients such as EMI, ITV, Nickleodeon and Pepsico. We've seen our free promotional games downloaded over 300,000 times in a month - and that was just by UK users!

With the prolific spread of iOS devices this is almost always something to consider and an area we have excelled in from a branding perspective.

Android.

Android market share of the mobile space is rapidly growing, our efforts and results are following this trend closely. Using all the development tools available to us we have deployed additional Android versions of games for only a small increase in budget to an iPhone game build.

Flash.

This is where we started out, with over 100 flash games under our belt we really know how to build them. With this experience we've tested so many variables to increase user awareness, brand awareness, social interactivity and ways to simply get your message out. We can also recommend the best websites to showcase your games to reach the right audience.

Many of our flash games reach over 100,000 daily plays in the first month, and often we still see 5,000 daily plays of a game 12 or 18 months after launch. Because of the way we build and deploy our flash games we are able to continuously update your messages within the game to reflect ongoing changes in your brand or campaign.

Facebook.

We can either develop games for you that sit within facebook (think Farmville) or we can integrate any game with facebook functionality to allow users to share, post to walls and discover new content. Or we can pull in a users custom data and photos to enhance and personalise their experience.

We have developed our own robust and industry leading Facebook integration tools that make our games work seemlessly and more reliably than any other develpment company currently building games. You can be confident that our products work!

Anything else?

Is the above list of technologies not enough for you? Well, we also have experience in developing games on the following platforms Blackberry, Kindle, Mac desktop, Windows desktop, XBox Live and PS3 Store. Several of these have been experimental projects as part of our research and not launched live to the public. With our game design and marketing experience we are confident that we will deliver you a first class title and exceed the results you are looking for.

Programming languages we use include: (in no particular order) Objective-C, AS3, AS2, HTML5, Javascript, Lua, Java, C++, PHP, PERL along with developing using Corona and Unity environments. Yeah that's probably not very exciting, but some people are interested in it!
